Welcome to Wall Street II!
This course is an advanced course into the exciting world of investments. Students will gain knowledge of the various investments. We will analyze various aspects of business to examine the impact they have on investments and the economy. We will cover the following topics:
The Fundamentals of Investing
Investing in Bonds
Investing in Mutual Funds
Stock Market Crashes
Investing in Real Estate
Investing in Precious Metals, Gems & Collectibles
Derivatives: Options, Futures, Swaps
"Wall Street II – Advanced Investments" builds on students’ prior knowledge base of the fundamentals of how a market economy functions. Students will learn about common stocks and how they relate to America's business structure, how and why a company issues stock, investment guidelines, stock exchanges and elements relating to investing, beyond the stock markets.
In addition, students will participate in The Stock Market Game; a national program designed to assist in the study of securities markets.
